Presumed breeding plumaged female Hudsonian Godwit. Large shorebird similar in overall size to a Black-necked Stilt by direct comparison. Long, slightly recurved bicolored bill with the outer third black and the remainder reddish. Underparts pale and heavily barred with black and rufous. Pale face heavily marked with a dark crown. Upperparts heavily checkered.
