Seen at northern end of Esplanade with other birders. Photographed. Bird was very active, almost Terek Sandpiper like, searching for and consuming mud crabs. Also observed eating one sand eel. Greenish/olive legs, with upper leg being noticeably shorter than Common Greenshank. Thick base to bill with base of bill being lighter in colour than end.
