观察细节
Red-billed Queleas (Quelea quelea) are small African weavers that form huge flocks numbering tens of thousands in wet years. Red-billed Queleas mainly eat grass seeds and some insects, and are often significant pests in farming areas, earning themselves the name of “feathered locusts”. This relatively small flock of Red-billed Queleas descended on a patch of seeding grasses at the Albasini Ruins near the Phabeni Gate in Kruger National Park. Count approximate.
