Found by Mourad Jabra at about 5:45pm. ID features discussed in field; distinct clean looking peep, overall tones lighter and more gray than near by semipalmated sandpipers. Face cleaner looking although its hard to tell in the photos as it stayed in shade for most of the time. Obvious rufous/rusty lines on scaps that extended all the way from "shoulder" to tail. Flat headed at all times, unlike round head of semipalmated. Thick neck, Bill slightly longer and thins out towards the tip, with a noticeable droop. Extremely heavy-set, especially in the breast.
