Heck yeah! Upon arriving I met A. Merritt, E. Clark, and W. Legge who were on the bird as it sat on the water in the east end of the main lagoon. A. Merritt was the finder. The bird would drift towards the eastern shore and then make short flights back out a little ways into the main lagoon before repeating the process as it would invariably drift back towards the shore. Clearly a product of the strong storm winds. Medium sized storm-petrel with blue-gray appearance on uppers and light below. Dark forehead and ear patch, dark underwing coverts seen well in flight. Stiff wingbeats. Flight was fairly direct and close to the surface of the water.
