10 initially seen soaring over the lake in Chatham Co., eventually moved north into Durham Co. until they disappeared into the trees at the north end of the lake. One individual seen at the edge of the water opposite the spit. Possibly a low count; a few other individuals seen roosting in trees, unclear whether they were part of the initial group of 10.
