Continuing adult on North side of Thoreau pond. Sandpiper larger than peeps with longer neck. Yellow legs. Shape and size like Pectoral Sandpiper. But contrasting rufous cap, white eyering, rufous tertial edges. Throat and breast densely spotted, but without sharp cutoff on lower breast like Pectoral. Instead, spots gradually became larger chevrons from breast to belly and continued down the belly and flanks. Buffy wash across breast. Photos.
