Rare. I heard the “pit-ti-tuk” call first, then Josh quickly spotted a distant red bird, which was the tanager. Mostly red except for brownish wings and creamy vent. Typical tanager bill - short and thickish with a curved culmen, not particularly pale. Sang after a bit. Sounded like a robin but slightly burrier. Not nearly as burry as a Scarlet Tanager. Josh got photos.
