I observed this hybrid in company with Gadwalls. The pointed tail, sheen on the crown, black bill, and dark collar seem to be in common with images of this rather rare hybrid occurrence from what I've been able to find so far in my online research. Images in the Macaulay Library line up well with the head, neck, and tail traits seen in my attached images. Similar to this one, for example: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/504762731
