Roost. 7:59p: Already ~1000 birds circling overhead in the area. 8:20p: Approximately 5000 birds circling. 8:30p: Very rough estimate of 100,000 birds circling overhead and starting to perch in the roost trees. 8:40p: The majority of birds in trees with some movement between trees. 8:45p: Vast majority of birds in trees with only a few moving between trees. No adult male birds observed. Still loud vocalizations. 8:50p: Very, very few birds moving between trees. Still loud vocalizations. More birds in trees to the northeast of the roundabout than in roundabout trees. 8:55p: Only occasional movement of a few birds between trees. Slightly quieter. Maybe more birds in trees to the northeast of the roundabout. 9:00p: No movement of birds between trees. Quieter now. End of observation.
