For filtering (200/3000) field tape +10, 0. The song and bother notes are all entirely different from those of T. punctatus (punctatus) of Guyana. More field work and recording must be done to establish this definitely. Whether the new species name should be subcinereus, atrinucha, or something else is yet to be determined. PAS. Identified by Isler, Isler, and Whitney as T. atrinucha as part of their study on species limits in the T. punctatus complex (see Isler et al. 1997).
