Деталі спостереження
The species was named in honour of Stoliczka, who died 14 days after labeling what would prove to be the type specimen. "[Specimen] No. 1855, male Chiklik, June 4, 1874. (Type of species.)" (Sharpe, 1891: 43) Note: The location of Chiklik is based on what can be deduced from 'Sharpe 1891' and the approximate coordinates of the name on a map drawn by an earlier expedition (Hayward, 1870: map 4 [between pp. 34-35]). The artwork is from 'Sharpe 1891', plate VI. Sharpe, R.B. (1891) Scientific Results of The Second Yarkand Mission [1873-1874]: Based upon the collections and notes of the late Ferdinand Stoliczka, PhD. London: Taylor and Francis. Hayward, G.W. (1870) ‘Journey from Leh to Yarkand and Kashgar, and exploration of the sources of the Yarkand River’, The Journal of the Royal Geographical Society of London , Vol. 40, pp. 33-166.
