I had spent a log time searching for this bird without success. Many thanks therefore to Peter Potts who was sat opposite a lagoon reading and noting the details of coloured-ringed Med Gulls. He said this lagoon was where it could usually be found and eventually after further scannng I located it, distant and at the back of the lagoon. It was spending lots of time underwater.
