A male bronze sunbird, perched on a low branch, calling repeatedly. Its song increases in tempo and in pitch across about 2 seconds, erupting in a burst of fast, high squeaks. These verses begin at 4" and 11" in this recording, as well as another clear one in progress at the very beginning. It remains mostly stationary throughout this recording. The rhythmic chirps of a sparrow can be heard throughout.
