White head with a thin dark eyeline, black malar patch, white breast with a few dark speckles in the flanks and belly. Ventral tail white with narrow dark equal width bands, dark brown back with white spots on the coverts. The bird was seen only from the front while perched, and a dorsal view when it flew to another tree. This is the same Red-tail we observed in the same location on 12/17/23: https://ebird.org/checklist/S156663182 It is likely an intergrade between and Eastern borealis subspecies and a Krider's subspecies, or even a Krider's- Harlan's Hawk integrade as when we saw it a few days ago had reddish on the dorsal tail covering more than half the length of the tail as well as because the rufous on the tail was asymmetric suggesting potential Harlan's ancestry; the extensive white on the outer wing including the primaries and coverts suggesting Krider's. Easily seen with the naked eye from the parking lot of first Creek at DEN open space, because if its gleaming white breast and belly. It's flew to another tree closer to Pena Boulevard. I was able to see large white rectangular patches dorsally on the outer half of the wings involving the primaries and the primary coverts.
