Identified in the field and tentatively input as Virginia's Warbler to ensure word got out, though the general consensus seems to be that this is just a dull Nashville Warbler with the wings mostly obscured, therefore hiding the greenish coloration (though I saw none in the field). A fair number of other experienced birders aren't sure which species this is. Probably will add more to this as other people weigh in but figured the responsible thing to do is to switch it sooner rather than later. Initial notes, "Seen very briefly early on, then about 2 hours later briefly teed on vegetation about 75 yards into the field immediately south of the access point to the field between the two ponds. Photographed immediately this time, images will be added. Dainty warbler with no visible greenish tones on the back or wings, rather a gray to blue gray, bold eye ring, tiny bill, yellow limited to chest not on belly. Did not get a clear view of undertail. Spent another 3 hours searching to no avail. Andrew Baldelli was the only other person to get on the bird as of my leaving. Photographs below are all 5 of the images I took, all at 1:57 PM while the bird was very briefly in view. Photographs are cropped but otherwise unedited (no tweaks to color, sharpness, etc.). I have zero field experience with Virginia's Warbler, as I've never seen one. I've never seen a Nashville this coloration before, but it's possible this comes back as a wildly drab immature Nashville."
