First reported early yesterday afternoon by Nicole Shangi. The bird was observed and photographed by local birders. The bird was identified yesterday evening as a Cassin's Kingbird. Thanks to Cameron Chevalier for getting the word out once the CAKI ID was made. Tyrannus kingbird with grey head and upper breast, white throat patch extending to under the eye, and a yellow belly. Dark tail with no white edges in the outer rectrices. The bird was observed regularly pumping its tail as it actively fed on insects in the trees at 625 Point Pelee Drive (formerly Birdies Perch).
