Loafing, bathing, preening at point on west end of Carpet Island w/ about 60 other gulls, including GWGU/WEGU hybrid, HERG, CAGU, RBGU which all added great comparison. Adult. Far larger than adjacent RBGUs and CAGUs. Blackish mantle, pink legs, red spot at gonydeal angle. Dark streak through eye from distance made eyes look dark in general. Broad white trailing edge of secondaries create wide crescent. Adult LBBG has yellow legs and is smaller. Bad digi-scoped photo just barely shows pink legs. Almost definitely bird that has inhabited Columbia Park Marina just across the river for the past several winters that has been photo-documented extensively.
