This bird was netted and banded at our Driftwood bird banding station on May 3, 1986. The TBRC data on this bird is: 3-14 May 1986 Driftwood, HAY (TPRF 387) (AB 40:496) There is a photo published in the American Birds issue cited above. This was the 3rd well- documented Texas record of this species. The bird remained through May 14 and was seen numerous times. The image below is posted on iNaturalist.org.
