Juvenile Ring-billed Gull. The dark pointed anchor tips within the wing covert feathers are the clinching ID for juvenile Ring-billed Gull. A Mew Gull would have paler rounded internal pattern, Thus, despite the tiny bill, this is a Ring-billed Gull. I chose this photo just so I could show how this field mark positively identifies this bird in an unexpected way.
