Singing from a low perch, changing direction; dropping to grass for a spell and then back up. Distance about 6 m.

Sweeeeeet. After listening intently to a Marsh Wren inches off the boardwalk, we turned the corner and heard a ct-ct-ct-trrrrr: SEWR!!! Located without much trouble, perched on a low (< 1m high) downed branch. It moved about on the branch for a couple songs and then dropped into the grass, ticking all the while. After a brief period it jumped back up on the perch for another singing round. I recorded most of that round (missed a couple while positioning away from Liz, who had the camera yay), and might have been a little hot on the levels when the bird turned toward me so I cut two songs in the middle. It ended with the same routine, moving a bit on the branch for the last few songs and then dropping back into the same grass patch while ticking and singing softly. Helped several other folks land on it, lifer for them.
