Деталі спостереження
A mid-sized warbler (larger and chunkier in appearance than a typical warbler) with dark olive brown upperparts, including wings and tail. The wings were unmarked. The bird had completely bright yellow underparts, from the throat to the undertail coverts, including the flanks. The bird had a relatively heavy fine-tipped bill (thicker than a typical warbler) and it appeared to be pale pinkish with a dark upper surface. The bird had pinkish legs and it looked relatively short-tailed. The bird’s head was strikingly marked with a bright yellow superciliums that curled around the back of the eyes and dark triangular (base below the eye) patches that went from right below the eye down the face and neck. The bird was seen well, in good light, for over 5 minutes as it foraged along the ground in the undergrowth, sometimes within a metre or two of the trail and at most 5 - 6 m from the trail. Photos attached.
