A juvenile walking and feeding on the ground. Vagrant bird arrived in the islands during a heavy storm. This record is the first citation for the Valencian Community and the fifth for Spain. Elevation: 4 m. Date added to IBC: June 22, 2016.

IBC scientific name: Ammomanes cinctura arenicolor. Divagante observado en la Illa Grossa. Fue visto inicialmente por Vicente Castañer, guarda de la Reserva Natural. Posteriormente fue fotografiado y grabado en vídeo. Lo identificó Alberto Álvarez. "Importante primera cita para Castellón y la Comunidad Valenciana de este aláudido sahariano escasamente citado en España.
