A Kelp Gull swimming in choppy waves. Kelp Gulls (Larus dominicanus) are common throughout the Antarctic Peninsula and the Subantarctic islands. This bird was swimming just offshore in Whalers Bay, Deception Island in choppy conditions. Elevation: 31 m. Date added to IBC: February 7, 2019.
