A pair of Swainson's Spurfowl on a dusty road verge. Swainson’s Spurfowl (Pternistis swainsonii) is a common resident in Kruger National Park and is usually found in small family groups. Swainson’s Spurfowl is often seen foraging on road verges for seeds, insects and other food. This pair of Spurfowl were foraging on the verge of the S28 Road in southern Kruger Park. Elevation: 287 m. Date added to IBC: July 3, 2018.
