Immature raising and lowering back feathers. The reason for raising the back feathers is not definitivey known. One suggestion is that it is for thermoregulation. The temperature was 26 degrees celcius. Two days later, with temperatures of 35 degrees celsius, the same bird was observed feeding in the sun at the same spot for 40 minutes. It did not raise the back feathers. Elevation: 597 m. Date added to IBC: January 31, 2017.
