A bird on the ground, showing strange behaviour. The nominate (dauma) is often split from other forms as Small-billed Scaly Thrush (Zoothera dauma). This info is coming from the Ripley guide: Has shivering or nervous bobbing walk, also habit of slowly or rapidly raising and fanning the tail. Calls given by bird foraging on ground include strange, quiet breathy rasping notes and chick notes (it did just that, but not hearable on tape). Elevation: 177 m. Date added to IBC: June 22, 2016.
