Деталі спостереження
Spotted rather close against mt. shlomo, there it was pretty a instant id. paddle-like wings (like a golden eagles wing but more extreme) with a narrow wing-base, bulging secondaries and inner primaries with a rather narrow hand. The wings were kept in a rather sharp V-shape, again reminiscent of a golden eagle, here it was seen soaring, also seen was a long dark tail with a narrow white rump, brown upperparts with a bright crown in contrast to a dark face and chest, paleish underparts, which indicated that it might not be a juvenile bird, but rather an immature bird. Also seen was pale outer primaries, greyish secondaries and an dark brownish arm. In general also gave a scaly impression, due to wear and tear on juvenile feathers, especially on the coverts and underparts. After my initial discovery, it went north and then disappeared, where it was rediscovered by high mt. raptor counter Gaidis, flying southwest, which is where i managed to take the photos... The reason why I didn't get any photos at the time of discovery was due to pure, unadultered excitement, which meant I was shaking like broken washing machine
