Continuing Lovely Lucy's...in the close vicinity of 33.4793410, -117.7166910 No specific favorite tree, seems to move among most trees and plants present. I picked one target tree to record. Loved the proximity to observe Lucy's at this park, as mostly so far obseved far up in the trees as tiny blob. Gray above, darker gray wings, prominent eyes, light eyerings, white below with browish red on rump and red random marks on head. This red almost looked black in lesser light. Relatively short tail. Very fast moving. Chased multiple times by other birds. Simple colors yet lovely nature's creation. My primary goal today was video documentation of the bird. No stakeout was necessary, bird was there in the Euc right across maderas when I arrived, but waited for right opportunity to record.
