Rarity continuing with horned larks in the patch of grass on the left side of the lot. Pics, with J. lending scope looks. Circled for a bit with a lark and then settled into the grass looking contented. Chunky plain brown bird with thin tan eyering larger at the back than the front. Some messy black on the breast. Flat shape to the head though not as pronounced as, say, a grasshopper sparrow. Lifer.
