Recently fledged juvenile initially thought to be injured. Bird was along Mount Hope Road and allowed close approach. I looked it over at close range and saw no apparent injuries. It appeared to be practicing first flights, but I gently helped it come to see Mount Hope Road wasn’t the best runway. I finally grabbed a stick to herd it out of a ditch and it made a strong flight to the tree line on the same side of the road where we first saw it.
