Medya notları

NOTES: Nagra 3; 24" reflector; windscreen. Bird usually 150-300 feet away. Flies up, often very high, and swings about, singing, rather like a snipe. Background: reflector noise. LNS: The subject of this recording was changed from Anthus spinoletta to A. rubescens to reflect current taxonomy. -Matt Medler, 31 March 2010. [A moderately long recording with many parts, every one of which was decapiated. All of this is probably Flight Song, but with elements of the "Tail-up" Call described by BNA inserted among the Song elements. The first part appears to be mostly Song elements, but with elements of the "Tail-up" Call at 0:19-0:22; the second part began with Song elements, but was mostly elements of the "Tail-up" Call; the third part began with Song elements (0:55-0:56), graded to the "Tail-up" elements (0:56-0:58) and then back to the Song elements (0:58-1:17); the fourth part also alternated between Song elements (1:24-1:28, 1:29-1:45) and the "Tail-up" elements (1:23-1:24, 1:28-1:29); the fifth part began with mostly Song elements (1:47-1:54) and ended with "Tail-up" elements (1:54-2:11); the sixth part has exclusively Song elements; the seventh part began with "Tail-up" elements (2:31-2:34) followed by Song elements (2:34-2:52); the eighth part alternated between Tail-up" elements (2:54-2:55, 2:59-3:00, and 3:10-3:21) and Song elements (2:56-2:59, 3:00-3:10, and 3:22-3:38); the ninth part began and ended with Song elements (3:40-3:43, 4:05-4:06) but was mostly "Tail-up" elements (3:43-4:05) - the last few elements of this part were said to be given when the bird landed. Quality 2-3 (good signal for some vocalizations, but all were decapitated) - CAM - 16 December 2004].
