Gözlem detayları
One individual among the SEPL (one limping) seemed different. Firstly, slightly smaller (although this could only be my subjective interpretation). Secondly, slightly darker on the back, with darker, and certainly not yellow, legs. And above all with black definitely broken breastband. I made observations using a scope during low tide, this group of plovers was far away from me and unfortunately I was not able to get close to them. Although the breastband of some SEPLs of this flock seemed indeed very thin on the central part of the breast, in this particular individual the broken wide gap on the breast seemed very obvious. Also, in those individuals in which the central part of the breastband was thin, it was rather the result of gradual narrowing, unlike in this individual where the incomplete breastband ended in expansion in the form of side patches, similar to the pattern in Snow plover. Seen at Cook's Point area, northeast shoreline.
