Mudflat scan through 10 or more adult birds, three red-capped males to start with. Resident breeding bird at Lake Tasitolu, augmented by Australian visitors. Previously thought to be more or less an Australian endemic. I have got a flagged bird here that was presumably captured and flagged in SE Australia (orange flag, upper right tibia). Elevation: 0 m. Date added to IBC: June 23, 2016.
