Male singing from low shrub. An afternoon visit to the flowerfilled dune landscape at Wakka Nature Center turned up at least 21 singing Lanceolated Warblers. Wondering what an early morning visit vould yield, I went back before sunrise on the following day, and came away with a minimum of 54 singing birds seen/ mostly heard along a 4-5 km stretch of coastal dunes. Elevation: 5 m. Date added to IBC: August 24, 2019.
