African Goshawk giving display call. This magnificent female was calling while perched in a tall Pecan Nut tree at the top of our suburban garden. Close scrutiny of the stills obtained confirm the gender as female. Background sounds include Green Woodhoopoe, Cape Robin-chat, Red-chested Cuckoo, Hadeda Ibises, Cape White-eye, and unfortunately some camera noise (clattering) from the camera autofocus mechanism.
