Three immature/female-type on a log, together with tow Grey Teal. Endemic to Australia. This species can be very hard to come by. A highly nomadic and rather rare species, and its very difficult to predict its occurence anywhere. Around 25 birds were present at Herdsman Lake during my visit. During the rest of my year I only saw one other bird at Hart Lagoon (SE South Australia). Elevation: 7 m. Date added to IBC: June 23, 2016.
