Juvenile found by Blayne and Jean Farnan. Observed was a large, buffy, small headed, long necked bird with a short bill that was noted to be slightly decurved towards the tip. The noticeably dark brown fringed with buff feathering gives a scaly appearance to the upperparts. The cheeks, neck and underparts were a buff colour blending to whitish on the belly. To me the long legs were greenish/yellow in colour. I have just added a fourth photo of the bird at rest that reveals the white rump well.
