Подробности наблюдения
The Long-toed Stint was discovered at the beginning of the morning (08.15 am) on September 16th, 2017 at the edge of the Abbé lake (11°09'23.7"N 41°51'53.5"E). Shortly after his determination, I was joined by Andres de la Cruz, Evan Buechley and Juan Ramírez Román. Description: - Small Stint (size similar to the Little Stint present around it). - Greenish-yellow legs. - long legs, especially the tarsus. - Often stand up, slender shape. - Median finger disproportionately long, characteristic clearly visible when the bird raised a leg, even at a distance. - very long clear supercilium - warm brown upperparts contrasting slightly with the general color of the Little Stint around, a little colder. more, pictures attached. Concerning its behavior, this bird fed and stayed most often at the limit or inside of herbaceous area. A little away from the Little Stint and therefore in a more closed environment. During a general flight of waders (Fighter-Sandpiper minute), he was the only wader to stay on his area, at rest, seting on the mud. Gabriel Caucal photos copyright Gabriel Caucal
