heard a song i was unfamiliar with while walking along the road, merlin very quickly identified the audio as horned lark and listening to recordings i agree. as soon as i id'd it it started getting much fainter so i must have scared it from a bush but i photographed two birds flying away at the same time, hoping it would be them and while reviewing photos it was!
