A great find yesterday by Alex Frias! A rather bright yellow tanager with dark wings and two relatively well defined wingbars. Photos. We originally relocated the bird in the oaks above the stone benches but during our time there we also saw the bird in the oaks over the butterfly garden, so it’s moving throughout the visitor center parking area. This appears to be the first record for the refuge!
