Huge thanks to Brian Venables, Julian Teh and especially Mary Brook for intel to find the Bowerbird. Rain continuing, but thankfully not too hard. We found the bower, backed off and waited, maybe only about 15-20 minutes before the male appeared with lichen for the bower. He flew in fast and low, then swooped up to the bower, as if popping on stage. He rearranged the lichen, looking it over a bit before flying out. Amazing experience. We waited a while to see if he would return, but he did not while we were there. We didn't use playback.
