About 10:20 am 3 of group were at seawall on the edge of mangroves at far right of boat ramp. The bird flew across 10 feet below us to the mangrove section just to the right of the boat ramp. We all thought rail from shape, bill and color. We knew a Clapper Rail had been seen and photographed here on 12/22/25. No pictures at this point. We watched from the dock with no result for about 10 minutes. Then the 4th member went around to the seawall land side. She soon called us over and all 4 of us saw it at perhaps 20 feet from the walkway in the mangroves on the right side of the boat ramp. No vocalizations. Florida CBC documentation submitted to compiler.
