2-The dense fog could not obscure the majesty of this pair perched in a tree on the north side of the main lake basin at the end of the outing, much to the consternation of nearby blue jays. The jays' harassment apparently provoked the eagles enough to produce an audio alert on the Merlin app, a first for this observer.
