A good shot of a Black-backed woodpecker work on a Red Pine Tree. It is located half way up the tree on the Left Side. Sorry for the poor picture; taken with Phone Camera.

As seen three days ago on the same tree. Saw one Black-backed Woodpecker. Solid black back, black and white striated sides and a yellow crown. Was pecking on a Red Pine Tree in a Red Pine Plantation near the main parking lot (P5). Was located on the North side of the Northern most trail leading away from the parking lot (P5). Very close to the Old Quarry Parking Lot (NCC Lot P5). I estimate the distance from the Parking lot as 250m.
