FOS. Heard call up in the tops of the sweet gum & cherry trees with the American goldfinch and Cedar waxwings. I walked around and listened and heard it again and also had a pick up on Merlin. Gave single note pick call, sweeter sound than house finch. I also think I photographed a male briefly visiting feeder (see attached), but photo is overexposed so it is difficult to confirm the white undertail coverts. It is typical for me to first see or hear them feeding at the top of the trees before they start consistently visiting the feeders in the winter. Hopefully, it will stick around and I will be able to get better photos.
