First only saw one which flew in front of me and landed on the beach. Another flew to it and they took off over the dunes where they were immediately joined by the rest of the flock . To arrive at the count took, I took the photo with the most birds in it and counted. There may have been a few birds in the flock not captured in the photo, but count is very close to exact.
