1-2 adult hawks 6:09 p.m.: Hawk dove toward Green Heron that had circled in air and landed in tree. Heron escaped with a surprised squawk. 6:11 p.m.: Noticed large nest with juvenile peeking over rim. 6:45 p.m.: Hawk seen by tennis courts. Crying in tree.
