Подробности наблюдения

When riding up the slope turning st bend heard chirping like calls on the dry slope in front of me it was the song of this species i didn’t know but the chirping sounded very regular and evenly spaced 2-3 in a sequence thought it was definitely some kind kf song but it stopped when i got close but then i heard something else a high pitched squeaky call like the Yunnan nuthatch calls i heard before wasn’t even sure if its A bird or some type of rodent or squirrel the slipper was steep but i still decided to climb it to see what was calling phone was lagging very badly because of overheating so it was basically useless and I just went up with camera and bins it was surprisingly easy to locate the bird right in a bush almost immediately noticed it’s long tail and knew it was one of the longer tailed prinia species I haven’t seen before! Wasn’t sure between Himalayan and striped but just recorded as many video and photos as possible on a side note there are some bones and spines at this spot pretty weird. Had to get my phone to check the species and went up to same spot again the bird stopped calling at this point I checked the species descriptions and although I hoped it was Himalayan because it’s more range restricted it seemed like striped is the better fit in terms of call was being excited for this find because finally I found a species in this 干热河谷 actively using these dry scrubby rocky hillsides as habitat as these birds were not going in the villages or more vegetated areas only on these bare slopes and are by local didn’t hear them anymore past the 金沙江大湾景区 made biking up worth it because you wouldn’t have noticed this species in a car. Followed the bird around not very shy and would call kn the open but couldn’t approach very closely and I realized at this point that the chirping calls I heard earlier is actually the song of this species heard some in the distance so there are multiple birds! Filter shows unreported def a very cool find
