From a distance I assumed it was going to be a northern waterthrush, singing from the maple swamp. But when I got closer I could hear the song was thinner and more sibilant, and it was singing from the tree tops, not the swamp. I thought Nashville, and got merlin out, which agreed. Will upload a recording.
